Itinerary

DAY 1MARRAKECH – KASBAH AIT BEN HADOU – AGDZ – ZAGORA DESERT

The 2 days desert tour from Marrakech to Zagora starts early in the morning at around 7.30 AM. You will go through the amazing Tizi Ntichka pass as you reach Zagora. There are also numerous villages you can see in the distance. There are multiple stops during the trip, so you can stretch a bit, enjoy a refreshing drink or take some photos.

After reaching Ait Ben Hadou, you will be able to visit the extraordinary world heritage site featured in Lawrence of Arabia or Gladiator. You will also have a visit of roughly 1h that can be organized with a local guide. Lunch takes place in Ourrzazate or Kasbah Air Ben Hadou. After that you will go through the Draa Valley, the Agdez berber village and the Anti Atlas mountains. The valley is known for being a great palm plantation.

You will get to Zagora late during the afternoon and the you will be able to enjoy some camel trekking in the desert while the sun fades away. When you get back to the camp you can enjoy the dinner while also being able to play the drums with locals.

DAY 2ZAGORA DESERT – OUARZAZATE – ATLAS MOUNAINS – MARRAKECH

You will have a quick camel ride in the early morning. You also get to enjoy a great Moroccan breakfast. Then you go to Ouarzazate where you can check the Tourirte Kasbah. Once that is done, you can enjoy your lunch and then you get back to Marrakech via the amazing Tizi Ntichka pass. Every guest will reach his hotel in Marrakech towards the end of the afternoon. Our rides will drop you off at your hotel, so you don’t have to worry about anything.
