Day 1Marrakech - Essaouira

Make sure to start your day early and leave Marrakech at 8:00 AM in the morning. Start your day trip from Marrakech to Essaouira with crossing the Houaz Planes and reaching to the village of Sidi Lmokhtar. It is situated in the west of Marrakech.

At the village of Sidi Lmokhtar,  it is best to have a tea break and wander around the famous argan trees. As discussed earlier, you’ll see goats climbing the argan trees in search of food i.e. nuts, etc.

Before moving on with the journey, tourists can shop at the local market and buy unique argan trees products. The next destination is Val d’Argan, a vineyard, and it is your choice to make a short stay and enjoy the vine from this French wine connoisseur.

After reaching Essaouira, it is best to contact a professional tour guide so that you can cover maximum spots in a small duration. Some famous places to visit on your trip to Essaouira are Mellah (old Jewish quarter), the fishermen port, and the Kasbah (old military bastion).
